New Delhi, October 24, 2013: Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, today announced the winners of Vodafone Drive into the Big League Season 3 and Vodafone SuperFan, two unique and innovative customer engagement initiatives. The winners were announced on the eve of the Indian Grand Prix 2013, to be held at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC).
At the close of two months of high activity-led selection and elimination process, Havmor Ice Cream Limited was declared the winner of the Vodafone Drive into the Big League Season 3 - an annual initiative by Vodafone Business Services, the enterprise arm of Vodafone India. Vodafone Drive into the Big League Season 3 aimed to provide one lucky medium enterprise (a company with a turnover of Rs.100-500 Cr) a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of getting its company logo take prestigious place on the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes cars that will race at the Indian Grand Prix 2013. The logo will take center stage, alongside multi-billion dollar brands, to be viewed by millions of television viewers across the globe.
Ankit Chona, Managing Director, Havmor Ice Cream Limited received this honour at the hands of Naveen Chopra, Director, Vodafone Business Services in the presence of Jenson Button, a racing icon and 2009 Formula One World Champion.
While speaking about the path breaking initiative, Vodafone Drive into the Big League (DiTBL) Season 3, Naveen Chopra, Director, Vodafone Business Services, said, “We are overwhelmed by the response to this unique initiative since the time we started in 2011. The four lucky winners of this year’s Vodafone SuperFan are Zishan Ali, Neerja Joshi, Diwanshu and Arup Sarkar who win an all-expense sponsored trip to Delhi and stay with Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team. And that’s not all! During the race, the Vodafone SuperFan winners get access to the pit lane and join the on and off-track activities of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team.
