    How do I change/modify my account details?


    Below is the list of details which you can change / modify / update along with documentation requirements.

    Changes you can do with scanned documents:

    • Rectify the spelling of your Building
    • Rectify the spelling of your Street
    • Rectify the spelling of your Area
    • Rectify your Pin Code

    For these rectifications, please send us a scanned copy of your latest POI and POA (having these details) to

    Alternatively you may also visit your nearest Vodafone Store with the copy of your latest POI and POA along with your originals for verification purpose.

    Changes you can do with physical documents:

    • Change your complete Address to a new one
    • Change your Flat Number
    • Change your Building / Wing / Floor

    Please walk in to your nearest Vodafone Store with the copy of your latest POI and POA to change/update the above mentioned details.

    • On visiting the store, fill in a Service Request Form, along with your latest (not older than 3 months) Proof of Address (POA) and Proof of Identity (POI).
    • On submission of correct and complete documents, your address will be changed within 3 days.
    • You will receive your latest bill at the new address if the address change request with complete documents has been submitted at least 4 days prior to your bill date.

    Changes you can do without documents:

    • Update/change Landmark in your address.

    How can I change the SIM / What do I do if I have lost the SIM?


    Please visit nearest Vodafone store or Vodafone Mini Store with a copy of your Proof of Identity for SIM Change.

    You can collect replacement of SIM card at your nearest Vodafone store or Vodafone Mini Store by submitting the damaged SIM along with a copy of photo id proof.

    In case of loss of SIM. The customer is requiered to visit the nearest Vodafone Store/Vodafone Mini Store and submit FIR/Missing report along with a copy of their identity proof.

    • Bring an original photo ID proof with you when visiting a store to collect your replacement SIM card.
    • TAT of SIM replacement 2 hrs and Roaming SIM replacement - 48 hrs

    How do I get my PUK number?


    In case your SIM card is blocked, you will need to enter your PUK code to unblock the SIM Card

    Unblock your SIM with your PUK - The PUK code is a number unique to your SIM card.  It is used to prevent unauthorized use of your account, and keep your SIM details safe.  You’ll be asked for your PUK if your PIN code is entered incorrectly 3 times.

    If you don’t have your PUK code,dial 199 and select the relevant option.

    Step 1

    • Enter the PUK into your phone when asked.

    Step 2

    • You’ll be asked to enter a PIN code, twice.
    • It needs to be between 4 and 8 digits.

    Important information

    You’ve got 10 attempts to enter the correct PUK, so be careful. After that, your SIM will NOT work, you will need to get a replacement.

    I want to activate Do not Disturb ( DND ) services.


    Do not Disturb (DND) is a free service that, once activated will prevent you from receiving promotional SMS and calls, either from all industries (Full DND), or from select categories of telemarketers (partial DND).

    Shift from a Company owned account to an Individual owned account


    Important Information when you shift from a Company owned account to an Individual owned account/Corporate Reimbursed account.

    In case at any point in time you would request Vodafone for a change in status of mobile number from Company name to an Individual name we need to comply as per regulatory norms. To make this movement seamless we are pleased to provide a checklist of documents required:

    • Customer Agreement Form (CAF) to be resubmitted.
    • 1 Passport size photograph with signature affixed across on the Customer Agreement Form (CAF)
    • Self-attested copy of recent Identity (POI) and Address proof (POA)
    • Scheme form stating the required tariff plan post change in ownership
    • NOC request from the authorised signatory

    It is mandatory to carry original documents for verification purposes along with the NOC issued when visiting the Vodafone store to complete the process. Please note that to avoid payment liabilities to your company and any disruption in services, you will need to submit documents within 3-4 days prior to the date mentioned by your authorized sign on the NOC form.

    Please note:-

    A new SIM card will be issued to the customer. During this change process the customer will be unable to use the services approximately for up to 4 hours. We, however, do send an SMS intimating the customer prior to execution.

    What do I do if I have a faulty or damaged sim?


    Please visit nearest Vodafone store or Vodafone Mini Store with your faulty/damaged sim card for a SIM change.

    Is safe custody applicable for both pre-paid and post-paid users?


    Safe custody is currently available only for postpaid users.

    What is Safe Custody?


    The Safe Custody feature allows you to protect mobile connection from deactivation due to  non-usage. This service is only applicable for a postpaid customer on the request of the customer and on payment of a specified amount.

    For how long can I avail of Safe custody and what are the charges


    Charges for Safe Custody

    • For Safe Custody - 0 to 3 months, Rs. 150 + Goods & Service Tax (GST) will be charged
    • For Safe Custody - 3 to 6 months, Rs. 300 + Goods & Service Tax (GST) will be charged
    • For Safe Custody - 6 to 12 months, Rs. 600 + Goods & Service Tax (GST) will be charged

    Do I get intimation on expiry of Safe Custody


    You will receive a call from us on the alternate contact number provided by you to inform you about the expiry of your Safe Custody period. You will also receive an email on your registered email address.

    How to extend the tenure of my Safe Custody?

    What happens if I do not extend Safe Custody?


    In case Safe custody is not extended and request for reconnection of the number is not received within the expiry date, your number will be permanently disconnected on expiry of the Safe custody period.

    How do I reconnect my no after expiry of Safe Custody?

    Can I pay for Safe Custody charges online?
